    Awesome kit. This one went into my daughters e90 335i. We bought the BASIC and it’s more than enough. It’s plenty quick, still replaces the old screen and doesn’t have any wild distractions that I have to worry about. My daughter was using this phone cradle combo and it was honestly terrifying to think about in hindsight. Anyway, awesome device!

    It's a fantastic, well made head unit. The android OS is fast and stylish. I do think Zlink needs some work. I've noticed that it doesn't connect automatically more often that it does. Otherwise, the app works as expected and perfectly emulates Android Auto/Car Play.

    Installation seems a little intimidating at first, but it's actually quite simple. The hardest part is getting everything back in. It's a tight fit, but it's definitely doable. My unit was defective, but things happen, and I don't hold it against them. What makes this a five-star experience is the customer service. I scheduled a call with a tech that was super nice and accommodating, and he helped me determine that I needed a new unit, which he had mailed out as soon as he received a tracking number from the pre-paid shipping label he sent me.

    All in all, I'm glad I went with BimmerDirect. I don't think you can expect customer service like that with just any site. I have, and will continue to recommend these guys.

    Awesome as hell! Had my teenager throw it in our 335is weekend car. He was able to get it up and running in about 1 hour with the instructions. Android Auto looks and runs sweet on it

    These guys are awesome. The PDF they sent was pretty detailed. I’d say it took me around 2-3 hours to install it. I went for the basic unit because all I really wanted was wireless CarPlay. Didn’t really need any other fancy features. Ran into a few hiccups but they answered them right away.

    The touch screen is a nice added benefit although I don’t really use it. I prefer using the knob.

    Sound quality is unaffected which is awesome (I use it with my factory Bluetooth)

    The colors on the new screen are much more vibrant which is nice. The old screen looked kind of washed out.

    Overall a pretty sweet mod!

    Basic facts…

    Ordered the unit. When they say basic, they mean it. Get the actual Android plus unit or whatever they call it. Makes no sense to get the basic, you could just get a car play emulator for cheaper. Unit is functional for what it is.

    There is zero wiring for any audio add ins pre-amp outputs and things like that. So no real audio expandability.

    No instructions in the box nor provided via email. I used YouTube for the small things I had questions about.

    Delivery time took way longer than the advertised 3-5 days. I didn’t know the unit was coming from China. I had a clients car just sitting taken apart.

    First backup camera trunk handle was wrong. Issue be as identified and resolved fairly quick but did just add to the overall time spent in waiting for the full product which is super basic and lack luster and seems over priced for what it is.

    Do your research and make sure this is what you want. Otherwise, more value just going through Amazon or eBay.

    Let's talk about real facts, Angel:

    #1: The basic unit is specifically for adding CarPlay and Android Auto. This is stated everywhere on the page and thousands of people use this unit because they know it is an upgrade over the factory system... For under $350.

    #2: There are no better-priced units on Amazon and they absolutely will not spend the time to walk you through installation or give you a warranty after the Amazon grace period. We looked. We also emailed you instructions.

    #3: We specifically say 5-7 day free shipping on the product page.

    #4: Not only did we send you a replacement camera in 1 day overnight, we also let you keep the old one and offered you additional discounts in the future since you claimed you are an installer.

    #5: Any actual, legitimate, professional knows that you can not "expand audio" via the CarPlay units. That is done via your factory radio. I recommend you do not touch these vehicles for any installation services as you sound lost.
