BimmerDirect Dynamik TrakTool is a patented device which is mounted in the vehicles OEM A/C Vent. This device allows to the monitoring and display of real-time propiertary BMW metrics. This device uses real BMW protocol, not generic OBD2 protocol. 

TrakTool gives your BMW a companion whether used on the track of for protection when using the vehicle in every day scenarios.

Important Notes: 

• This is a performance monitoring tool. This device should only be purchased by technical individuals and enthusiasts. It is not particularly hard to install or use, however common sense and being competent with technology is a given requirement. 
  
  
• This device has been tested in a 103F hot summer environment both in the United States and Asia. When Air Conditioning is set to proper temperature, the vehicle still cooled comfortably even with one vent blocked. It is recommended to install the vent in the opposite vent if you are concerned about direct air flow. Example; You have LHD > Install in RHD placement. 
  
  
• This kit includes everything you need, including a 12V power harness with needed fuse taps. Installation can generally be accomplished in 1-2 hours and is less difficult than installing a CarPlay screen. 
  
  
• No coding is needed as this device does not alter any OEM features or modules although it works directly with them.  
  
  
• For customers who have had their device for 90+ days, we will offer free firmware customization and boot logo / standby screen change.

• ALL 2012 - 2019 BMW 2 / 3 / 4 Series vehicles and engines including M-series. Example; 228i, 235i, 328i, M4, etc.
